HOW TO ACCELERATE THE RESTORATION OF INTESTINAL MICROFLORA AFTER ANTIBIOTIC TREATMENT?

I’m not a fan of antibiotics, but sometimes we have no other choice, but to take them to recover. If you have to take them, you need to know that the repair of the correct bacterial flora can take up to half a year.

About 50 trillion microbes live in our intestines, which is 1.3 times the number of our own cells. In the upper sections of the small intestine mainly bifidobacteria and lactobacilli. In the large intestine – bifido-, lacto- and eubacteria, bacteroids, Clostridia, enterococci, strains of Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Enterobacter.

Antibiotics are strong and effective and quickly cope with pathogenic bacteria, but together with pathogenic microorganisms, they destroy beneficial bifidobacteria and lactobacilli in the body. This leads to constipation, reduced immunity, reduced absorption of vitamins of group B, K, folic and nicotinic acid, impaired synthesis of amino acids.

What indicates that the intestinal microflora is disturbed?

  • Nausea
  • Dry and flabby skin
  • Feeling of constant thirst
  • Apathy, fatigue, weakness, drowsiness
  • Abdominal pain, discomfort in the intestines
  • Constipation, periodic diarrhea (up to 6 times a day)
  • Sudden weight loss
  • Rumbling, feeling overflowing and bloating after eating
